The aim of the third edition of “a dish of meadows: the greens route” is to consolidate and strengthen the promotion of the land of Montefeltro. We located a route, “the way” that connects Urbana and Carpegna, a cross-section of the territory where the millenary presence of men did not jeopardize the extraordinary environmental, historic and cultural heritage. The main moving forces are the greens you find along the way. They guide the visitors through the treasure hunt game, and let them discover the most attractive and picturesque aspects. Visitors will be helped by a leaflet in order to find the right “path”, a sort of “hunt book”, where they will find maps, images of the greens and information about the characteristics and main sources of interest. Along the “way”, they will find some boards indicating the way they should follow, which are the landmarks for the treasure hunt. In the second part of the project, the player will have the chance of knowing more, taking part in the various workshops held by some experts: cooking, decoration, dyeing.
In order to integrate this project in the Urbania-Carpegna territory, a connection with the existing events has been made: their dates has been included in the calendar, in order to increase the interest of the future visitor and, moreover, to give a more comprehensive tourist offer.

Just like in the former edition, the “a dish of meadows” project will take place during the months of April and June 2007. In addition to the weekend promotion, this year there will also be the possibility to discover the territory through the “greens hunt” game. What is more, a series of events already cemented in the territory will be included in the programme: for example, “a flower for the city”, an expo of common and uncommon local plants and flowers, which will take place in Urbania, on April 25th, and where it is possible to buy forgotten plants. The phytotherapy convention held in Carpegna on May 26th-27th, addressed to physicians, chemists and herbalists, will certainly give a cultural, medical and scientific tone to this year’s programme.
The “Hundred Bowls” festival, also called “St. John’s night” in Nuova Feltria, gives a final traditional and popular taste on June 23rd.

The programme includes overnight stay and dinner in the concerned facilities, Locanda le Querce – Mulino della Ricavata; the next day, after breakfast, all participants will go for a walk along the “greens route”, where they will enjoy a simple “treasure hunt” picking out self-sown greens.
During the afternoon, there is the opportunity to take part in some courses of green cookery and dried flowers arrangement.
It is possible to add one more dinner and one more night stay, in order to go and visit the relevant events in the neighbouring towns the morning after.
